Tonya Cook is an inspector seconded to the College of Policing in the role of frontline policing advisor.

Tonya was asked by the NPCC and the College to produce a one-stop reference page for response officers to quickly access material relevant to them when they plan continuing professional development (CPD) and to help supervisors plan training.

In consultation with Deputy Chief Constable Serena Kennedy, the NPCC response policing lead, and questionnaires from frontline focus groups, Tonya has gathered more than 50 videos, e-learning, reports and models.

We've published these resources here and Tonya will be updating them regularly. For our College Learn (MLE) resources you will need to be logged in.

'I get to do lots of continuing professional development through my own organisation or through the College of Policing so I get to do all the extra training. And the training I get is second to none,' says Inspector James Oliver.

Every minute of PC Dai Holmes' job as a response officer on the front line is challenging, rewarding and different, where for him policing is 'a second family'.
