Course contents
Core learning module
The core learning module is classroom-based learning during a two-week period.
Major crime or serious and organised crime module
One week of classroom-based learning in your chosen pathway, either:
Hydra module
One week Hydra event (interactive immersive learning environment) in your chosen pathway.

All components of the SIODP must be completed as well as the professional development portfolio (PDP) and a professional discussion to achieve recognition.
The PDP is designed to demonstrate and record professional competence in the role of an SIO.
