The SIODP will support you in becoming an efficient, competent and professional senior investigator.
Successful completion of all elements will lead to national recognition and entry onto the SIO professional register held by the College.
Two-week classroom-based learning.
MC or SOC module
One week of classroom-based learning in your chosen pathway; either major crime investigation or serious and organised crime investigation.
One week Hydra event (interactive immersive learning environment) in your chosen pathway.

National recognition and entry onto the SIO professional register.
All components of the SIODP must be completed as well as the professional development portfolio (PDP) and a professional discussion to achieve recognition.
The PDP is designed to demonstrate and record professional competence in the role of an SIO.
