Only Expressions of Interest relevant to the advertised pools will be considered.  Please make it clear in your Expression of Interest the pool(s) you are applying for.

Selection of Associates will be made in line with the nine principles of the Code of Ethics.

Each pool will have a defined scope of work and a clear set of criteria necessary for the delivery of that work e.g. qualifications, skills, knowledge, experience and currency against which potential Associates will be considered.  We will score expressions of interest against a marking scheme of 0-5 with 0 being 'not eligible for consideration' and 5 being 'excellent'.  The table below indicates the scores and the narrative.

The Associate pools will be re-selected every three years, or sooner, to ensure currency and skills are refreshed.

There is no obligation on the part of the College to provide any Associate with work, nor to guarantee an amount of work in any time period.  Work will be allocated through fair and transparent allocation, which will be specified on the scope of work.

From 1 April 2018 we will only engage Associates who have been successful in securing a place in one or more of the pools. In the meantime existing engagements will continue as normal.

However all purchase orders that have been in place that go beyond 1 April 2018 will be honoured. Please note the Associate Terms and Conditions that apply at the time would apply to these engagements.

Equal Opportunities

We encourage a diverse workforce and aim to provide a working environment where all staff, contractors and Associates at all levels are valued and respected, and where discrimination, bullying, promotion of negative stereotyping and harassment are not tolerated.

We will not discriminate on grounds of gender, gender identity, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, age, those with caring responsibilities, part-time workers or any other factor irrelevant to a person’s work.
