Opportunity for an external organisation to deliver our post (firearms) incident management training
We're inviting organisations to bid for a commercial licence to use our post-incident management (PIM) training. This licence would allow the organisation to deliver training to delegates from:
- Home Office police forces
- other organisations who are licensed under a College of Policing firearms training licence
This bid invitation is for a five-year licence to use the College of Policing’s PIM training course. It includes our:
- five-day PIM training courses
- three-day PIM reaccreditations
The term post-incident describes the period following the discharge of a firearm by the police, or where an investigation into police action is to be conducted.
A post incident manager’s role is to facilitate, manage and ensure the integrity of the post-incident procedure.
