Made a number of changes to the NDM APP so that the wording is in line with the content contained in the new 2023 Code of Ethics. Following sections have been amended: Application - wording amended to 'Everyone can use the NDM to review decisions and actions, and promote learning'. Sentence added at third/ last paragraph. The model - wording added at no 1. Code of Ethics - 'Ethical policing principles and Guidance for ethical and professional behaviour in policing'. Last paragraph - 'component' changed to 'element'. Six key elements (CIAPOAR) - 'Ethical policing principles' and 'Guidance for ethical and professional behaviour in policing' added to Code of Ethics bullet. 'CIAPOAR may also be useful when describing or reviewing a decision' added in after bullet list. Code of Ethics - 1st paragraph = 'heart' changed to 'centre'. Ethical policing principles' and 'Guidance for ethical and professional behaviour in policing' added in at end of first paragraph. 'Ethical policing principles' and 'Guidance for ethical and professional behaviour in policing' sections added. NDM components - text removed and amended in first line. Amendments made to sentence before bullet list.
