Research context
The aim of this study is to investigate cyber security readiness of police forces in the UK from technical, organisational and human perspectives.
The main objectives of this research are to:
- explore the existing cybersecurity threats/attacks and problems in police forces
- investigate cybersecurity readiness of UK police forces from technical, organisational and human perspectives
- investigate ways to improve cybersecurity readiness within the police forces
- extend a suitable framework for the investigations of cybersecurity readiness in police forces
Research methodology
Data will be collected from some police forces in the UK through qualitative research methods.
The approaches will be through:
- depth Interviews
- focus group interviews
- surveys
