Quality Assurance Management Systems (QAMS) is an online software application designed to manage the quality assurance, business improvement and inspection frameworks used in policing. Forces can upload items of noteworthy practice onto the system, which can then be accessed by all registered users.

Sharing information
The
National Police Library, housed at
Ryton, contains the foremost collection of policing resources in Europe. It can be used free of charge by all UK police officers and police staff; non-police researchers may also be granted access. Its catalogue can be browsed online.
The
College of Policing Brief is a monthly e-publication containing articles on topical and key policing issues, plus summaries of issues related to police law, operational policing practice and criminal justice.
