PNC Vehicle & Property Enquiry

Overview

​​Enables staff to search the PNC Vehicle & Property database and interpret the data, and effectively use the directory and transaction logging facilities.

Who should attend

​Staff required to undertake enquiries on the PNC Vehicle & Property database as part of their job description.

  • Vehicle e​nquiry

  • Property enq​​uiry

  • Transa​ction logging

  • Structure and use of PNC V​​ehicle & Property database.

Course modules

This is a combined Names Enquiry and Vehicle and Property Enquiry course.  Course lengths are 5 days in  total and are split: Names Enquiry  3.5 days, Vehicle and Property Enquiry 2.5 days.  

Entry requirements

​Be a member of an organisation authorised to enquire on the PNC Vehicle & Property database.

Course duration

This is a combined Names Enquiry and Vehicle and Property Enquiry course.  Course lengths are 5 days in  total and are split: Names Enquiry  3.5 days, Vehicle and Property Enquiry 2.5 days.  

Methods of delivery

​Classroom based delivery, supported by student notes.

Assessment processes / accreditation details

​Continuous informal assessment thro​​ughout the course.

Formal assessment is also undertaken by means of a multiple choice theory assessment used to assess underpinning knowledge and a practical assessment used to assess the ability to access PNC, search for records and interpret the information held within PNC.

Certification

​Delegates are awarded a certificate of competence on successful completion of the formal assessment.

A pass on this course is a requisite for atten​ding the PNC Vehicle & Property Update course.

Courses are held at custom​​​er sites and at Ryton.

Qualification and accreditation for all​ courses run can be acquired through Accreditation of Prior Experience and Learning. (APEL) Please call for details.

Course fees do not include accommodation for​ student. Accommodation is available on site at Ryton and in the local area.
