National Apprenticeship Week 2020 is here and to support it we'll be sharing a variety of videos, blog posts and materials about the
Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) on our website and social media channels.
Earlier this year, we headed back to Nottinghamshire Police, one of the first forces to run this new entry route, to catch up with some of the original PCDA officers about their experiences. While we were there, we also attended a PCDA information evening and spoke to prospective applicants about why this route appeals to them.
Throughout the week, we'll share the following with you on our website and social media channels:
- A video of PC Summer Smith sharing how she found working on response over New Year's Eve.
- A video of PC Toby Roberts about the different attachments he'll be going to in his second year of the PCDA.
You can follow the social media updates using #NAW2020 and #PEQF and do watch, read, download and share these materials during National Apprenticeship Week 2020. If the PCDA is something you'd like to know more about, why not check out our entry routes to policing PCDA page for more details on the course.
