As the title suggests, this category is core to the whole of the National Policing Curriculum. The knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and behaviour covered within this category of learning are embedded across the entire curriculum provision.

The learning standards, together with associated learning materials including e-learning, are accessible to registered users of the College Managed Learning Environment (MLE).

National learning standards are aligned to Authorised Professional Practice (APP) , the College Competency and Values Framework (CVF), and the Policing Professional Profiles.
