POLKA professional communities

The College provides opportunities for anyone to join or set up professional communities via the Police OnLine Knowledge Area (POLKA).

POLKA enables you to collaborate with other policing professionals in a secure online environment. It provides an opportunity for you to share your leadership knowledge, experience, evidence and ideas while learning from others to support your own continuing professional development (CPD) and professional practice. You can do this via communities dedicated to a specific policing interest, in which you can also explore leadership issues, or communities that are specifically dedicated to leadership. For example, there is a Leadership Review community where you can learn about, and share your thoughts on the Leadership Review or a Leadership Service Associates community for those engaged by the College as a leadership service associate. If you can't find what you are looking for, you can also create a new community.

Log in to the POLKA website and edit your interests in your profile settings to generate a list of recommended communities for you. Or, simply search in the communities tab for relevant options.
