Assessment Process for the SCC - Candidate Briefing Sessions

These sessions are for police officers and police staff attending the next Assessment Process for the Strategic Command Course (SCC), which includes the Senior Police National Assessment Centre (Senior PNAC) and the Senior Police Staff Assessment Process.

The sessions give you the opportunity to understand more about what to expect when you attend the assessment process. You will be taken through an overview of how the assessment centre works, information about what to expect while you are there, and have your questions answered with a view to de-mystifying the process.  The sessions also provide some suggested personal development activities to support you as you work towards this step in your career.

When can I attend a briefing session?
Two briefing sessions took place during July for the AP for the SCC September 2019.  Information about future briefing sessions will be published on this page.

What if I can't attend a session?
The slide deck from the most recent event is available on the Applying to the Strategic Command Course page.
