Assessment processes briefing sessions

These sessions are for police officers and police staff attending the assessment processes for the Strategic Command Course (SCC), which include the Senior Police National Assessment Centre and the Senior Police Staff Assessment Process.

They are open to Chief Superintendents, Superintendents and police staff of equivalent grades, and are most beneficial for those attending the next assessment process for the SCC or Senior Police Staff Assessment Process.

The sessions give you the opportunity to understand more about what to expect at the assessment processes and learn about the content of the SCC. You will be taken through an overview of how the assessment centre works, information about what to expect while you are there and have your questions answered with a view to de-mystifying the process.

The sessions also provide some suggested personal development activities to support you as you work towards this next step in your career.

2019 dates for these sessions are to be confirmed.
