Overview

​The event will inform participants of progress, themes and practice emerging during Force visits, under the People in Policing programme. Directors and strategic leads responsible for Transformation, Business Change, Learning and Development, Organisational Development and People should attend this event.

Please note that this event is rescheduled from the roundtable originally taking place on 26th February. We have moved the date to allow more delegates to attend and to give the opportunity to influence the actions and investments for Phase 2 of the Programme, based on the findings and recommendations of Phase 1. 

Speaker detail

​Attendees will hear a range of speakers describe impactful developments that have potential to be shared and adopted across the service.  Short inputs will stimulate roundtable discussions which will be facilitated and key themes captured to inform the options for investing the PTF Workforce Enablers funding of £1.8m during 2019/20. A report to summarise, share and promote the learning from the event will be produced and used to inform the next stage of the People in Policing Programme.

Agenda

​Agenda to be finalised, but the event will take place from 10.30 to 15.30 on 30th April 2019, and will comprise of an opening update on People in Policing, followed by four guest speakers and facilitated roundtable discussions.
