About our events

​Police and government related bodies wishing to hold an event at any of our sites can benefit from the extensive management experience of our events team. We provide logistical support, delegate registration and an accommodation service. Our team will work with you from the planning stages through to on-site management, helping to choose the best venue from our estate and providing as much or as little support as you need. Our venues are available to policing and government organisations only.

They offer adaptable space, first-class facilities and comfortable accommodation for a wide range of events, conferences and seminars at affordable prices.

Putting safety first.
Our venues can accommodate all kinds of events, from a large residential conference to a small seminar, all within a secure site. We take care of all security aspects, so you don't have to. Security passes are provided for all delegates, to be worn at all times. The current threat level is displayed at the entrance and at reception.

Vehicles are parked in designated and monitored parking areas.
Security staff are available on site at all times. If you are interested in holding an event, please complete the event request form or email us for further information.

Dedicated events team.
We have a team of experience event specialists who can offer support and guidance. You will be allocated an event manager, who will organise and support your event as well as offering information and ideas to make it as successful as possible.

Facilities and support
We provide a wide range of IT facilities and support, with venues designed and equipped with the latest communications technology - including audio-visual equipment, IT equipment, projectors and microphones. These facilities are backed up by helpful and knowledgeable support staff who will provide assistance on the day of your event.

Our onsite catering teams prepare menus to fit your budget and dietary requirements, with plenty of choice from sandwiches and buffet lunches to formal dinners.

All our venues have residential accommodation. Bedrooms include TV, telephone, internet access, hairdryers, tea/coffee-making facilities and central heating.We also provide a number of rooms for people with disabilities.

Our venues
Harperley Hall: This refurbished Grade II-listed hall in County Durham has a magnificent conference room and an impressive boardroom.
Ryton: Situated near Coventry, this large venue includes a conference centre for up to 250 delegates and a large learning suite combined with gym and leisure facilities.
