Our team comprises specialist personnel with professional knowledge and expertise who can provide operational support in relation to uniform policing incidents and events, as well as rapid response for the Police Service to both national and international issues, through:

• Onsite strategic, tactical and operational guidance and advice
• Written guidance and advice based on the evidence of what works 
• Telephone guidance and advice
• Debriefing services
• Training and consultancy services

We also act as an interface for ACPO, the Home Office and other national and overseas organisations, providing special project support and policy advice. Close links have been formed with overseas forces and agencies, enabling good practice to be exchanged through professional practice.
