Victoria Martin is a Chief Inspector with Durham Constabulary. Since May 2014 she has been working as an elected full-time national representative for the Police Federation of England and Wales, the staff association for rank and file police officers. She has volunteered her services as a local Federation representative at the ranks of Sergeant, Inspector and Chief Inspector.
She has in excess of 20 years of uniform policing experience and worked in numerous areas including response, neighbourhood, roads policing and student officer recruitment. Victoria has also performed the roles of Advanced Public Order Commander dealing with football matches and major events where public safety was critical, and the role of Tactical Firearms Commander for immediate incidents and pre-planned operations involving the police use of firearms in her home force.
