Licensing Opportunities

Invitation to bid for a licence to use the College‚Äôs Post Incident Management (PIM) training to deliver training to delegates from UK police forces and other entities who are licensed under a College of Policing Firearms Training Licence.

This announcement and invitation to participate in a competition is for a 5-year licence to use the College of Policing's Post Incident Management (PIM) training courses to deliver training to delegates from UK police forces and other entities who are licensed under a College of Policing Firearms Training Licence.  It includes the College's:

  • 5-day PIM Training courses (note: this course may increase to six days)
  • 3-day PIM re-accreditations
  • Half day PIM exercises collectively referred to as 'Interventions'

The term post-incident describes the period following the discharge of a firearm(s) by the police, or where an investigation into police action is to be conducted.  A post incident manager's role is to facilitate, manage and ensure the integrity of the post-incident procedure.   

Deadline for applications is 5.00pm, Friday 19 October 2018.
